I have worked on Oracle Apps Version 11i, R12.0 , R12.1 and R12.2. Each of these has fixed location for log files.
Apps DBA is supposed to know those location so that troubleshooting and monitoring can be done.
I am giving here the logfile location for all these version which can be lot of help to APPS DBA
